Qatar Airways, the Principal Partner of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), has invited young football fans in Perth to meet the Les Parisiennes team and participate in an exclusive soccer skills clinic.

The event, hosted at North Beach Soccer Club, provided an invaluable experience for 100 young players and featured hands-on coaching sessions and interactive skills activities, with some of the leading global stars of women’s football.

The PSG Women’s team have been in Australia participating in the Perth International Football Cup, a pre-season tournament that brought together PSG alongside Manchester City, Leicester City, and West Ham United from the Women’s Super League, with PSG triumphing in the final against Manchester City.

“We are immensely proud of our sponsorship of the PSG Women’s team and the team’s performance during the Perth International Football Cup,” Qatar Airways regional manager ANZ, Justin Kestel, said.

“We know that women’s soccer continues to grow at an extraordinary pace in Australia, so being able to bring young fans and the PSG team together was a fantastic way to connect with the local community. This clinic was a great way to help boost the children’s confidence and connection with the game, inspiring the next generation of soccer players.”

President at North Beach Soccer Club, Simon Collins said the club was extremely grateful to PSG and Qatar Airways for making the event happen.

“The players were extremely generous with their time and really inspired our young players. It was an incredible morning for the club, the whole place and broader community was abuzz with excitement and the kids, most importantly, got a tremendous amount out of the session.”
