Kourtney Kardashian has revealed the only reason she could never move to Australia following a “terrifying” encounter on a recent trip Down Under.
In February, Kardashian came to Sydney to join her husband, Travis Barker, for his band blink-182’s Australian tour and encountered a spider which she says is “the only reason I could never move to Australia”.
This week’s The Kardashians episode featured more than the “terrifying” spider that she was seen to capture under a glass as the family was followed exploring tourist hot spots Luna Park and Bondi Beach.
During the trip, Kourtney was on edge as she told her family and her nanny, Allie Garcia, that she was looking for spiders “everywhere” they went.
“It’s just terrifying and it’s just not the way I want to live my life,” she added.
The mother of four only brought three of her kids on the trip after her eldest son Mason, 14, refused to join the family and instead stayed with his dad, Scott Disick, despite Kardashian being “really sad” about his decision.
Her daughter Penelope, 11, and second son Reign, 9 – who are also shared with her ex-partner Disick – enjoyed their Sydney trip along with 3-month-old baby Rocky who Kardashian shares with Barker.
After touching down in Sydney, Kourtney said “We’ve been having the best time,”
“Travis is touring to different cities in Australia for about a week, but because I was on bedrest before, and then having a newborn at home, I haven’t really had any outings with my other kids, so really I wanted to stay in Sydney.”
Kourtney and Barker couldn’t keep their hands off each other as the Blink-182 drummer arrived at the $10,000-a-night Sydney accommodation and packed on the PDA in front of Reign.
“This is the longest that we haven’t seen each other since the baby was born,” Kourtney said in reference to the nine days the pair spent apart while Travis performed in Melbourne.
Reign did not like what he saw saying “Stop making out with Travis bro. Like didn’t you just have a baby? Don’t get another one this quick”.
Kourtney responded “I think it’s a beautiful thing to see parents, especially ones that just had a new baby, be affectionate and loving. There’s nothing wrong with that.”
During their Aussie trip, young Reign declared the ice cream to be his favourite part of the trip while Penelope said “going to the beach” was her peak.
Penelope continued “my pit was that there was like a shark attack so I don’t wanna go in the water.”
To which Reign responded “Eh, who cares, one person were gonna get bit, I’ll take the risk.”
When talking about Luna Park Kourtney said “I think these are the scariest rides Reign has ever been on.”
She continued “It’s so rare to get two whole weeks of 24-7 time with my kids because of school and because they’re with their friends.”
“Australia really couldn’t be more perfect so far, I’m so happy that I decided to come.”
