Tennis champion Sam Stosur was all smiles on Monday night as she cuddled up with girlfriend of seven years Liz Astling.
The Australian grand slam winner, 40, and her love stepped out arm-in-arm at the 2024 Newcombe Medal held at the Crown Palladium in Melbourne.
Sam dazzled in an emerald gown which sparkled beneath the lights and featured a conservative V neckline and modest split to her knee.
The former world No. 1 in doubles paired her ensemble with a pair of sensible black heels and a silver diamante clutch.
She rocked a huge statement necklace for the occasion as she slicked her blonde tresses back into an artful up-do.
Opting for a very minimal makeup look, Sam finished her outfit with a simple pair of silver earrings which matched her clutch.

Meanwhile, partner Liz slipped into a simple, flowing black gown with a matching clutch and necklace.
She styled her short bob into loose curls before slicking on a bold red lip and popping in some gold earrings.
Sam and Liz share two-year-old daughter Genevieve together—affectionately known as Evie—who they welcomed in 2020.
The tennis player announced at the time her girlfriend Liz had given birth to a baby girl on June 16, 2020 in a doting post on Instagram.
Sam had gushed about her joy at becoming a mother and how the coronavirus pandemic had been a blessing in disguise for her young family.
The Australian grand slam winner said motherhood has been ‘absolutely amazing’.
‘Even the tougher times don’t seem that bad when you just look at her little face and you just want to cuddle her and hold her all day long. It’s absolutely incredible,’ Sam said.
But she said she was still adjusting to becoming a mum and all the craziness that comes with it.

‘It still seems a little bit weird to say she’s my daughter, but I’ll get used to that. It’s absolutely amazing,’ she said at the time.
As she battled through the learning process and sleepless nights, she said she’ felt fortunate to have been blessed with little Evie.
While the coronavirus pandemic had put the WTA tour on hold, it’s something which proved a silver lining for the tennis player and her partner Liz.
She would typically have spent July in Wimbledon before heading to the US Open the following month.
Instead she was given the chance to bask in the glow of motherhood beside her partner and newborn baby.
Sam was able to attend the birthing classes with Liz and do all the shopping rather than experiencing the joys of motherhood over the phone while in Europe.
After a month with the newborn, Sam decided she wanted to be there while the baby grew up instead of jetsetting across the world.
Sam is the only Aussie woman since legendary Evonne Goolagong Cawley to claim major titles in singles, doubles and mixed doubles in tennis.
She retired last year after winning a grand slam singles crown with a memorable triumph over Serena Williams at the 2011 US Open in New York, but has since returned to the sport as a captain.
