Bendigo Cup winner Sea King has raced into Melbourne Cup contention with an emphatic win in today’s feature and bookmakers have slashed his odds to win the Cup next week.
Success in the Group 3 Bendigo Cup (2400m) on Wednesday qualifies the Harry Eustace-trained stayer for Tuesday’s Group 1 Melbourne Cup (3200m) at Flemington.
