Slalom has brought Tripti Chibber on board as the new leader of its Financial Services business across Australia and New Zealand.
Crossing from Deloitte and with previous experience at Accenture, Tripti Chibber brings over 15 years of consulting experience within financial services to Slalom.
Her journey in the financial services industry began with core banking transformations, having supported numerous large-scale multi-year transformations across the sector. During her time at Deloitte, she also gained experience in industry with National Australia Bank, as part of a secondment that saw her serve as an executive within one of NAB’s business units.
In recent years, Chibber focused on the superannuation sector, most recently serving as Deloitte’s Lead Client Engagement Partner for a major client in the space. She also was a key a member of the leadership team that helped the Big Four firm triple its Superannuation team across Australia and other APAC offices.
At Slalom, she now leads the Financial Services practice, which has been earmarked as a key growth area for the firm in the region. “It’s an exciting time for Slalom across ANZ. Tripti joining the team embodies our commitment to expand into the financial services industry across ANZ. We are leveraging our global experience and cultivating local talent to deliver exceptional value to our FSI customers,” said Richard Winston, Global FSI Lead at Slalom.
“I’m looking forward to working with such an experienced leadership team and continue to grow the ANZ business, with a focus on our customer, our customers’ customers, and our community,” stated Chibber.
Speaking about Slalom’s strengths, she highlighted the firm’s deep expertise in digital transformation and technology. “By leveraging data-driven decision-making and imbedding modern technologies, like AI, into the organisation, institutions can make more informed strategic decisions and enhance the safety and security of their business and their customers.”
Chibber also highlighted the human approach the firm embodies – something which she says resonates closely with her own background and values. Her personal experiences as a minority, female leader in the industry have enabled her to bring a unique perspective to financial literacy and health, advocate for underrepresented groups, and bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions.
“Slalom follows a fiercely human approach by deeply understanding its customers – and their customers’ customers – to deliver practical, end-to-end solutions that drive meaningful impact,” she said.
Asked about her first impressions since arriving in August, Chibber stated: “I’ve joined a team that has been consistently been ranked as a great place to work, and with such a vibrant culture of authenticity, I can see why.”
