Australian LIV golf star Cameron Smith has confirmed he will do the Aussie double and compete in both the Australian PGA and Australian Open.

Having last month confirmed he would be a starter at the Australian PGA at Royal Queensland, the Ripper GC captain has now confirmed he will play in the Australian Open a week later in Melbourne.

As it has the last two years, the men’s and women’s Australian Opens will take place simultaneously on the same courses.

Chilean LIV star and defending champion Joaquin Niemann has already confirmed he will also return to play the event, to be held across Kingston Heath and Victoria Golf Clubs.
