Craving a career change or chasing better pay? Australia’s roles with the largest salary growth over the past 12 months have been revealed, and one of them could be your new calling.
Quality manager claimed the top spot with a salary change of 14.62 per cent and an average salary of $140,664, according to employment platform SEEK.
A registrar, banking manager and acquisition manager also benefited from double-digit salary increases, with growth of 12.18 per cent, 11.65 per cent and 11.64 per cent respectively.

Five of the top 10 roles were in the healthcare and medical sector.
The highest paying role in Australia was also in the healthcare space, with psychiatrists earning an average salary of $236,055, according to advertised salaries on SEEK between June 2023 and June 2024.
This was followed by project directors on $232,682, general practitioners on $232,450 and staff specialists in healthcare on $222,503.
SEEK’s market data and customer analytics head Leigh Broderick said salary continued to be top of mind for many Australians.
“When there is demand in key industry sectors, such as healthcare and manufacturing, we typically see this have a positive correlation to pay packets,” Broderick said.
