Step into the Origin Australian Diamonds camp and go behind the scenes in a Netball Australia documentary titled Unfinished Business.
The 22-minute mini documentary follows the Diamonds cohort in South Africa as they navigated the highs and lows of the 2023 Netball World Cup.
With the memory of the 2019 loss etched into their minds, the Diamonds declared they had unfinished business.
Every game, every goal, every sprint was unfinished until they lifted the World Cup trophy in Cape Town.
Led by head coach Stacey Marinkovich and assistant coach Nicole Richardson the World Cup team started to take shape.
“This is our time now,” Marinkovich said during a pre-game address, which features in the documentary.
With the strength of competition globally continuing to grow, the Diamonds knew taking home the trophy was going to be no easy feat.
Eight games over 12 days was the task at hand.
And as the competition heated up the Diamonds continued to weather the storm.
Sisters in arms engulfed by the support of the nation with their loved ones close at hand, the Diamonds finished business.
Follow Marinkovich, Richardson, captain Liz Watson and the Diamonds cohort as they hit the court in Cape Town, from day one to eventual World Cup glory.
The documentary will also be available on Kayo from Saturday 1 June.
