This year’s edition of the fabled VRC Oaks Day takes place on Thursday, November 7, at the iconic Felmington Racecourse in Victoria, Australia.
The event has been a regular on the Australian race calendar since its inaugural race in in 1861. The race, meant for Group 1 Thoroughbred three-year-old fillies offers a total prize purse of $1 million.
Zardozi won the race last year, joining a long list of winners that includes the likes of Samantha Miss and Rose of Kingston.

This year’s VRC Oaks Day will take place 12:40pm AEDT on Thursday, November 7 at the Flemington Racecourse.
The main event – the Crown Oaks – will jump at 5:10pm AEDT.
