Australian cricket fans will not be starved of David Warner this summer despite his international retirement.
The Sydney Thunder have announced the left-hand batter will play his first full Big Bash League season in the lime green.
Warner has signed a fresh two-year deal with the western Sydney outfit.

With his retirement from Australian duties freeing him up to play domestic leagues, he is hoping to line up for every Thunder game.
“[There’s a] great bunch of people, a great coach and I’ve always been a part of Thunder,” Warner said on Tuesday.
“I really liked the environment last year, the group we had brought a lot of energy.
“This year, I think we can go a couple of steps better.”
Warner’s announcement comes a day after Steve Smith confirmed he will play for the Sydney Sixers in the BBL this summer.
Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, and Alex Carey, though, will only be available during a short break from international duties.
