Western Australian racing available for stream on Entain platforms

Racing WA has today announced a five-year partnership with Entain, which will see Western Australian thoroughbred race meetings streamed across its desktop and mobile platforms in Australia as well into New Zealand through Trackside NZ.

As part of the partnership, all thoroughbred race meetings in WA will be available to stream live via Ladbrokes and Neds in Australia.

Racing WA Chief Racing Officer David Hunter welcomed the announcement and said it would expand the reach of WA racing to a wider customer-base.

“Partnering with Entain through its Ladbrokes and Neds brands in Australia along with Trackside Media in New Zealand will ensure WA racing is more accessible than ever before,” he said.

“The partnership will deliver an enhanced experience for both existing fans and new viewers, with the ability to stream every race live on these platforms highlighting our commitment to growing the visibility and popularity of WA racing.

“We look forward to seeing the positive impact this partnership will have for our industry.”

Entain Australia and New Zealand CEO Dean Shannon added:

“Entain is delighted to secure the opportunity to showcase live WA thoroughbred racing across all of our platforms in Australia and New Zealand for the next five years,” he said.

“This partnership with Racing WA will bring our customers closer to the action, offering access to the stars of the west, including the exciting Pinnacles Carnival and The Quokka in April, where the Ladbrokes Racing Club and Trackside NZ proudly hold slots.”

Last month, Racing WA announced a new multi-year partnership with the Seven Network to showcase Western Australian thoroughbred racing live and free on the screens of Seven.

From 16 September 2024, all thoroughbred race meetings in Western Australia will be broadcast live and free on the Seven Network’s digital streaming platform, 7plus.

“We congratulate Racing WA on their recent announcement to restructure their media rights and we look forward to working even closer with them to elevate WA thoroughbred racing to new heights,” Dean said.
