One of the greatest ever to grace the sport, Novak Djokovic is chasing his record-breaking 25th Grand Slam at the 2025 Australian Open, which begins in Melbourne on Sunday.
The 37-year-old has a great track record at the tournament, having already won a record 10 Australian Open titles.
However, it will be a herculean task for Djokovic with a potential quarterfinal against Spanish firebrand Carlos Alcaraz and a possible clash against World No 2 Alexander Zverev in the semis looming.
Djokovic will take on Nishesh Basavareddy in the first round of the Australian Open 2025. The day for the match is yet to be determined, with it likely to take place on either Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday.
The timing of the match between Djokovic and Basavareddy is yet to be determined.
