And there was no one more chuffed at the achievement than her mum Sam, who stood, applauded and whistled in the stands.
The Queensland native stood tall in front of her entire family, including her father and two siblings.
But it wasn’t just the 21-year-old, who was in fine form, with veteran Ellyse Perry also notching a ton, decimating India’s bowlers to smack 105 from 75 balls.
Perry hit six sixes, which is the most by an Australian in a single women’s ODI innings.
Australia managed an impressive total of 371, which included half centuries from opener Phoebe Litchfield (60 off 63) and Beth Mooney (56 off 44).
India were gallant in their fight at the crease, but were all out for 249 in just 44.5 overs, led by a brutal display from Aussie quick Annabel Sutherland, who took 4-39.
The third ODI will take place on Wednesday at the WACA.
